Hi y'all - this is a sort of "thinking outside the box" kind of thing (I think).
Our IT department are sorely lacking in resources, and as such, technical ingenuity isn't within their grasp - so I come here, hoping to learn from the experience of others. :)
Basically, I (we) need to spitball ways to ensure user profiles are working before new hires arrive to login and commence their work. So much time is wasted on tickets for first ordering access and then notifying of unintended access errors afterwards (due to mistakes made in IT service).
Due to HR/GDPR concerns, the IT staff has very little time to create users (and importantly, they don't have time to test anything). My hope is that there exists quick and easy ways to test profile configuration(s).
Do any of you have any experience or ideas for this sort of thing? :)
Cheers in advance!
