Hey all, ive been having a problem with Open DNS and looking for a workaround.

Yes, I know, this sounds sus, but im not misbehaving, or a teenager or trying to watch porn at work.

Basically, too much is blocked. It was installed recently and EVERYTHING is blocked. The person who set it up isn't going to be home for a long time and I dont have account access to change the settings. It was set up to just stop redirects to scam sites and such, everything (including porn and such) is meant to be unblocked.

That being said, im just looking for a temporary workaround until they get home in 2 weeks. Im on windows 10, and have tried a number of temporary solutions that dont work.

Public DNS does not work. At all. I cant make any connections to anything, as if they were invalid. I've tried pretty much every public DNS out there, but it just doesn't work. Ive heard its because OpenDNS will prevent any access to a DNS server thats not theirs.

VPNS/Proxies. These dont work either. Even if i manage to gain access to an app or program, it will prevent connecting to the service itself. So none of them work.

I dont have any other internet to get by, so this is real frustrating.
