New wifi card randomly disconnects Internet, plus frequent DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN errors

Post Body

Recently bought a new wifi card, a Rosewill RNX-AC1200PCEv2 AC1200. In the 2 weeks since having installed it I've encountered frequent issues. I'm hoping it's a solvable problem and not faulty hardware, as I prefer not to return it if possible.

First issue: I'll randomly get disconnected from the Internet. Strangely, I'm still connected to the Wifi network, but have no Internet access on the computer. Some days this does not happen at all, sometimes it happens 5-6 times in the 8 hours I'm working on the computer. I'm about 90% certain this only affects the computer with the new card, and is not an actual Internet problem. I solve this by disconnecting from the Wifi network and reconnecting, and it fixes the problem every single time.

Second issue: I've noticed an uptick of "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN" errors. These are also random, and go away on their own after a few minutes. They affect certain sites but not others, but seem to be random. They seem to be too frequent to be issues with the actual websites.

I don't have any sort of custom setup. I'm not using a VPN, or different DNS servers. It's pretty much default Windows 10 Wifi settings. I've run the Windows troubleshooter. I have a strong connection to the network (full bars) and am only 25 feet from the router. I have an Orbi RBK30 system.

Thank you!
