ASUS ROG laptop can't update windows, signs me in to yahoo instead of the laptop itself, and won't reliably stay sleeping.

Post Body

My less than one month old ASUS GL502VS laptop is having a strange issue. A prompt to install the latest version of Windows 10 (security update, I believe?) will come up, and I'll download and restart my computer to apply the update. After doing this, however, upon boot up, the laptop will just freeze and do nothing at the "Republic of Gamers" screen, and that's it. When I finally shut the computer off and restart, it will either restore the previous version of windows, or it will just pretend like nothingi happened, and then prompt me to start the whole process again later.

I also noticed that when I purchased the computer, I created a password to sign in, as I guess an unnamed admin. Or maybe it used a username. But at some point, something switched it to where in order to log into my laptop, it prompts me to sign in to my yahoo account, and with my yahoo password. I don't know why it started doing this, and I don't know how to change it. .-.

I wonder if these things are related.

There's a third issue where upon shutting the laptop and putting it to sleep, it will just spontaneously wake up for no reason and get really hot while its in its bag. I take it out and open the lid, and it's clearly just on, even though it should be sleeping.

Not sure if this is the best place for this post, but any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
