So I was trying to print from my Android phone, but I couldn't connect to my printer. When I tried the IP address, instead of being presented with the normal web GUI, I got an authentication dialog. But the default user/pass didn't work (normally I don't have to authenticate). I got a 403 error message that seems to be written in bad English: "There is no right which accesses a specification file". Also, I'm still able to print on my Linux box, but it's not registering with the Canon drivers on my phone. Anyway, I thought this was very odd. Could it possibly be some sort of infection? BTW I verified the MAC address is from Canon, so I know that's what I'm hitting.
