I have a brand new laptop. I've always purchased the ultimate edition of windows and I am now finding out that whatever version I have doesn't apparently have all of the same features in terms of administrative rights and being able to modify the computer in the way I wish. I get the message "This snapin may not be used...[blah blah blah]"
Is it possible for me to use my Windows 7 ultimate product key from my desktop computer on this new laptop? I know I was able to upgrade my desktop to windows 10 without issues. My desktop is also out of commission for good, so I wouldn't have to worry about duplicate keys.
