Monitor issues
Post Body

Alright so I have a AOC G2460V and I've had it for less than 6 months. Ever since I got this monitor I've had this issue where if my computer goes to sleep and I turn it back on I have to turn my monitor off then back off for it to receive signal. This has never been a big issue for me as it takes like 5 seconds to fix it.

The problem I'm facing now is my monitor isn't receiving a signal no matter how many times I turn it off and on, even removing the power cable and re-plugging it does nothing. Where it gets weird is, I just turned off everything and unplugged it all PC included, and when I booted up my PC the monitor was working fine, that is until I hit the login screen, where it reverted back to my second monitor and my main monitor had no signal.

I haven't changed anything since I last used my computer, which is why this is so confusing. I'm now worried my monitor is dead. Has anyone experienced this before, if so is there a potential remedy? Also I'm using Display port 1.2.

SPECS:

  • MOBO MSI Z68A-GD65
  • CPU i5 [email protected]
  • GPU GTX 960 4GB
  • RAM 2x4GB Kingston Hyper x
  • PSU Corsair HX650
  • Monitor 1 AOC G2460V via DP1.2
  • Monitor 2 Acer V203H via DVI
  • OS Windows 10 Pro

EDIT: Problem solved, updated nvidia drivers. Feel stupid now as that probs should've been my first course of action.
