Last week I had to re install win 10. I then ran into a problem where my computer wouldn't start up. Went through all the trouble shooting I found on the net. Pulling ram, unplugging components etc. I then replaced the CMOS battery and computer powered right up. Everything was fine for 4 days. Multiple power ups and a lot of gaming. Now I am back to square one, computer will not turn on, unless I pull the CMOS battery and unplug the power supply for a few hours.
System specs
5930K, Asus Rampage Extreme motherboard, 32 GB DD4 2100 mhz ram, Samsung evo 500gb boot drive, Samsung evo 1tb second drive, Western digital black 2tb 3rd drive, AMD Fury X for the video card and a EVGA 1050 watt power supply.
Thanks for reading the post
Edit
I forgot to mention. When I originally replaced the CMOS battery, I never removed the sticker from the sid of the battery and the computer ran fine for 4 days like that. It wasn't until I did the CMOS clear last night that I discovered that. Left the battery out and unplugged power supply for a few hrs and it booted right up.
Edit 2
Did the Cmos reset again, got to the Bios and entered date and time. COmputer rebooted and died.
