Upgraded PC parts cause lower FPS than old ones
Post Body

I recently upgraded my PC to try and enhance my gaming experience. I just put in a Z97MX-gaming 5 motherboard along with a 750W bronze EVGA PSU, and a second EVGA 670GTX to attempt SLI with the one i already had. While trying to run overwatch i found that many objects and characters in the game were not loading and my FPS was abysmal. I then ran a 3DMARK test and it gave me these scores:

Graphics score: 11 903 Graphics test 1: 55.79 FPS Graphics test 2: 48.26 FPS Physics score: 2 009 Physics test: 6.38 FPS Combined score: 1 806 Combined test: 8.40 FPS

I made sure every cable was connected properly in there (including the SLI bridge) and also made sure all of my drivers are up to date, and there is still no change in performance. Can someone help me to figure out what is wrong? im still fairly new to PCs and am unsure which tests to run to figure out the main problem. If i had to guess the problem it would be the 'new' 670 card, as my last one ran fine, and the new one was poorly shipped.

System Specs:

750W bronze EVGA PSU

Z97MX-gaming 5 motherboard

Intel Core i5 4690K CPU

2x EVGA 670GTX (FTW Edition)

G.SKILL NS Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 RAM

3DMark is also Listing Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 under GPU, but i have no idea what that is about

Edit 1: Just occurred to me to unplug one and test both individually, be back soon with results

Edit 2: Testing with my original 670 (not the new one i was suspicious of) got slightly better physics score (Physics score: 2 334 Physics test: 7.41 FPS) but worse graphics and combined scores (Graphics score: 6 689 Graphics test 1: 32.31 FPS Graphics test 2: 26.44 FPS Combined score: 1 744 Combined test: 8.12 FPS) This puts a hole in my old theory about the other 670 being the issue. The card itself should not be the issue though, it worked just fine with my old setup. I'll test the other anyways, for science and whatnot.

Edit 3: Tried turning on the computer with the 'new' 670 and it got past the bios then went black, my monitor then reported that it was getting no signal from the PC, after about a minute i restarted the computer and it booted up just fine but with a much lower resolution than normal. after logging in and opening Geforce experience i got a searching for drivers message. after a short wait the screen went back to its normal resolution and the driver was said to be up to date. Hopefully that will have miraculously cleared up the major issues. still testing, results soon.

Also to clarify, i call it the 'new' card but i bought it used off of amazon

Edit 4: 'new' card test: see old card test: slightly different numbers, same basic result. Im hoping that the drivers in the 'new' card were updated during the earlier edit and are able to work with the other card now. I'll see if anything changes now with both cards in.

Edit 5: nothing has changed with both cards back in, Overwatch withdrawal is slowly driving me insane, if anyone has any ideas as to what is wrong please help.
