Post Body

MS Windows 7 x64 Enterprise MS Office 2013 Professional Multiple Ricoh Copiers & Multiple HP Printers A user came to me today because he cannot print a single slide powerpoint in 'Pure Black and White' to any printer. He sent me his file and this is my tale.

You can set it to 'Pure Black and White' on the print screen but immediately after you hit the print button it changes to 'Grayscale' and that's how it prints out. I have since talked to 3 other people at my site that can duplicate this. I tried myself with 2 diff ricoh's and 2 diff HP's including re-installing the one in my office as a local IP (I saw on some forum that it fixed a similar issue) but not mine. There is supposed to be a fix that makes a registry change but that's already in place on our systems.

I took the issue to a support person at another site and here's where it gets weird. He printed the document fine on his ricoh. I mapped that copier to my laptop and duplicated my issue. When he tried again after me now his PC does the same thing. WTH? To the best of my research this only started happening about 1 month ago and I'm stuck trying to figure it out. Ideas?
