Can't start windows. repair/restore dont work either

Startup Repair can't solve the issue, I don't have a previous restore point. Press power button. runs through BIOS. "starting windows" shows for a few seconds. bluescreen flashes and it restarts with recovery options. no safemode option. Was working fine, I shut it down one day, next day this happens.

I also have an "AE" error code on the LED mobo. Manual says "boot to legacy OS" searching this sounds like my harddrive is failing. Is this correct??

GA-Z97X-UD5H mobo

Intel Core i7-4790K

32gb corsair Vengeance ram

gigabyte GTX 980

corsair gs600 psu

2 HHD: WD 2tb & OEM 1tb that has os on it.
