Unresponsive monitor with GT630 since Windows 10 upgrade

Hey, I've been looking online for days for an answer to this so I hope you guys can shine a light. My girlfriend has an HP Pavillion p6-23023am with an Intel Core i3-2130 CPU @ 3.40GHZ processor and 6GB of RAM. This is hooked up to an HP 2211x monitor via VGA cable. Basically, the computer used a Geoforce GT 630 card which worked absolutely fine on Windows 8, but since the upgrade to 10 the monitor is completely unresponsive when you attempt to turn the computer on with the card in. Take the card out leaving the basic Intel HD card and everything works as normal. I've tried removing all the pre-existing Nvidia drivers and updated Windows 10 so the card is patched but still to no luck. Any help would be hugely appreciated Thanks!
