Hey guys & gals!
I am wanting to install an SSD to replace the stock harddrive in my Macbook Pro. I have CarbonCopyCloner installed. I plan to transfer my data to an external HD and then I can put the SSD replacement in. I want to keep the same OS though and this is where I'm uncertain. I am going to boot up off the external and then transfer my system files & applications to the SSD. I want to continue running Mountain Lion. Will this process require me to upgrade the OS? Do I have to do a clean reinstall?
Many thanks for your help.
