I recently bought a VGA to DVI-D connector for my second monitor and i'm unsure if it's faulty or if there is another issue. I have my primary monitor running through a VGA to DVI-I and used to run my second monitor through the same. Once I got a new gpu (NVIDIA GForce GTX 770) it only had one DVI-I port, a DVI-D port, HDMI etc. So i didnt use my second monitor for a while and now decided I wanted my second monitor again. When i plugged it in, my computer recognized that there is a second monitor however the monitor is not receiving a signal. I have tested the monitor on another computer and it worked fine however i am unable to text the VGA to DVI-D connector due to no one in my house having that port.
