Hello I am jboi. I am here to fix your charter internet problems. Basically the dns servers are down for charter. Easy peasy fix.

Beside your time in the bottom right of your screen there is a small computer screen. That will tell you that you are connected to the internet. Right click that icon. Click open Network and Sharing center.

On the right side you will see three options. Access type: internet HomeGroup: Joined Then connection: LOCAL Area Connection (could be something else depending on your adapter)

You want to click the text to the right of the colon in connections.

Now click properties on the next screen. Now you want to highlight (which means click) the option that says Internet protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) And click properties. In here you want to look toward the bottom of the page that has been opened. You will see an option that says use the following DNS server addresses Enter these numbers

Preferred DNS server : 8.8.8.8 Alternate DNS server: 8.8.4.4

This is google’s free DNS server. Will fix your problems.

EDIT: 1:05 A.M Sunday morning Charter DNS is working once again for me.
