Should I even bother setting up a RAID 0?
Post Body

In my computer I have a 128 GB SDD for my OS, and any programs that refuse to run on an alternate drive, and for everything else (games, miscellaneous software and such) I have a 1TB HDD, I also recently purchased a second 1TB HDD to expand this drive.

From what I know setting up a RAID 0 array is supposed to give a performance boost, but would I even notice it with what I would use it for? Would it be better to just combine them as one virtual drive, to drop the risk of complete data loss, but lose the performance increase, if there is one?
