Laptop overheating to the point where it shuts itself down.
Post Body

In my early grad years (around Feb 2011) I got a Lenovo Y560. Config : I7 , 8 Gb ram, 2 gb graphic card etc. I rarely used it as I always used my office/college laptops more. I had got the laptop for gaming purposes. With all my work done and needing to relax, i wanted to restart using this. However, now I am having the trouble that it is overheating and shutting down. I used two different kind of cooling pads but as lenovo's design makes it difficult (they have side vents and not bottom vents) I would definitely need to do something about it..Any help would be appreciated !!
