Replacing a hard drive in a Laptop running Windows 7. Cloning software help?
Post Body

My friend has a laptop running Windows 7 that has a full hard drive. Because of this, he wants to upgrade the hard drive. I was thinking about using Clonezilla to clone his current hard drive to the new 500 GB hard drive (via enclosure and external hard drive). Is this the best way to do this? He doesn't have a Windows installation cd, so if we clone his HD, we would also clone his current Windows copy, right?

Also, if I'm doing this wrong....please help me out.
