My power went out around 3pm while I was away from home and did not get the chance to unplug stuff before the power restored. ( I heard it's bad to keep things connected for when power is restored)
Power came back around 11pm and I got home to everything working normally BUT my 2 monitors
I tried moving the monitors to different outlets and different ports on the outlet and nothing.... they were dead, one was blinking blue but unresponsive. Tried everything for 20minutes, and even connected other stuff to the same outlets that the monitors wouldn't and those other things worked like my router/ps5/charging laptop cord and for phone BUT the monitors wouldn't work
So I went to sleep and as I head to best buy I do the same thing just to check again and LORD BEHOLD the monitors were brought back to life
What happened here? Please let me know
My friend says overcharged resistors or overcharged diodes?
