Wireless powerbank not magnetic

Hey! ahmm I am new here, so mods if ever i write something wrong sorry in advance, I would just like to ask if you can put a magnetic ring on the wireless capable powerbank to give it magnetic capabilities? would it work?
Basically, the powerbank has no magnetic capabilities but has wireless charging capabilities, if i put a magnetic ring onto the wireless capable powerbank and stick it to a phone which has a metal ring/magnetic ring case to it would it charge? and is it safe?
