Texting App somehow finding a file I can't find in Files app

I'm having a weird issue with my phone. It's an LG ThinQ V60. I'm currently trying clear up space by deleting old videos and images. However, whenever I text and look at images and videos through there, I'm still finding the images and videos, even though I've deleted them and the trash folder is empty as well. I've even tried looking for the file based on date but can't find it. It's not on my Google drive either.
