How to remove an organization lock? (Or whatever it’s called)

So I bought a Microsoft surface pro a while back, and it has some sort of lock on it where you can only sign in using an email that uses a specific company’s domain. I’m tired of this thing basically being an expensive paperweight and I have absolutely no idea how to fix it and can’t find anything on it because I don’t even know the name for it. I’ve heard that factory resetting it while it’s hooked up to a computer that has some type of file solves it but I don’t have another computer. Any tips?
