I am so confused to as whats going on. I opted to update to windows 11 as it kept annoying me to. After getting the update ready, I finally decided to update and restart. I let it do its thing and noticed after the pc restarted, it wouldn't post. I waited maybe 20 minutes and nothing. I reset the pc and saw the led lights on my gigabyte b760 aorus elite a, flashing between CPU and DRAM. No usual troubleshooting worked. Cmos reset, removed battery, tested single stick on every slot, pulled worked ram from a nearby pc, still not posting. Is my motherboard dead?? How could an update do this? Out of ideas and desperation, I pulled the ssd out and put it in an older pc and the update picked up where it left off!! Any help is appreciated.
