So I have a brand new asus rog zephyrus m16 running windows 11. One problem I’ve noticed is that when I leave my computer on sleep for a while(2-3 hours) and then come to it YouTube videos that are 60fps will lag to the point where they can only hear played at 480. This only happens with videos in 60fps, and only happens with YouTube on Mozilla. When this happens I can open up Edge and play the exact same video perfectly fine, and any videos that are not in 60fps play fine even 4K (not 4K60fps just normal 4K), I have can even play 4K60fps videos on dailymotion and they will be fine.
I have tried turning off hardware acceleration and ublock and none of it helps. The “fix” is to close Mozilla and reopen it but it’s a problem because I lose my tabs/webpages because I frequently use private browsing a lot. At first I thought it was a driver issue, but is it possible for a driver to only affect 60fps YouTube videos on Mozilla? If it was a driver issue wouldn’t all videos lag/not work? Cause right now it’s just 60fps YT on Mozilla, and it only happens when my computer has been a sleep for a while.
