So I bought a decent but cheap speaker for my PC when I got it because my monitor doesn’t have any built in speakers.
The speaker I bought plugs into my tower with a USB and ever since getting it I’ve noticed that I have to unplug and plug it back in every time I turn my pc back on if I shut it down fully. I don’t have any similar issues or any other problems after plugging it back in, but it’s getting annoying having to unplug and plug it back in every single time I update my pc or restart my pc.
Is this just a problem with the speaker? Is this a problem with my usb ports? Software? I’m completely lost on if I can fix this.
Edit 1: I understand the pc powers the speaker, but my issue is that when I turn the pc back on the speakers will light up as if they’re working but won’t produce audio and the volume/speaker settings show as if there isn’t a speaker connected at all.
Edit 2: I think it’s just the speaker being faulty so I just ordered a new speaker for my desktop using the last bit of my Christmas money
