I currently have my computer hooked up via ethernet because no matter how close it is to the box it will not pick up the signal, my phone, my very old ipad mini, my dads computer and his phone all connect and pick up the signal effortlessly but my computer won't, i genuinely can't find a single reason why this is happening

(I'm not sure what information about my computer you will need but just ask and i'll give)

PS: we've tried most things like control panel>network connections>right click wifi>properties>configure>advanced to see if there's something we can do there but it seems like there's nothing, we've tried adding network via wifi settings and tried updating the driver itself but it says it's up to date (needed to use hotspot), we're at a loss and i have no idea why this is only effecting my computer and why this issue is only apearing after moving in
