I know someone is going to call me nuts, but I have a Samsung 3 that Ive kept for a decade in perfect working condition. I use it as an extra phone, thing to play old sentimental games on, and it has a ton of general sentimental value to me.
Anyways, today I was looking to change the passcode to it, and accidentally clicked on SIM passcode instead, inserted the wrong code thinking it was my passcode, and locked out the phone. Now it requires me to get the PUK/SIM code, to unlock and use the phone again.
Tomorrow as soon as my phone carrier calls Im going to ask them if Im still able to find out the PUK code through them, but I fear they wont be able to because the phone is so old.
My question is, is there anything else I could possibly do? I'm willing to pay money, take it somewhere, etc, if i really have to. This phone is very important to me and, at the very least I need to get the pictures and some other things of value. But Im wondering what I could possibly do about this, since its so old.
Any help or suggestions at all are appreciated. thank you.
