I have an older MacBook Pro that’s been collecting dust in the back of my closet. My girlfriend wants to buy a laptop but she only needs it for basic use and I offered up my computer. The thing is I know it has some sort of hard drive issue but I’m not sure how to fix it. It’s not the end of the world if we’re not able to but I’ve followed all of the online tutorials (recovery mode, menu) and none of them seem to work so I think something definitely has to be replaced, I just don’t know what.
