Recovery on SSD Failed
Post Body

HP g62-340US Windows 7 - home premium recently changed RAM and Hard Drive g-skill 8gb 1444mhz (so dimm) intell 330 series 240gb SSD

Old parts- seagate 320gp momentus 5400rpm hard drive 3 gb of RAM - 1 chip with 2gb 1 with 1gb. made by 2 seperate companies and both at 1444mhz

System recovery has failed after using the disks mailed from hp. I see a message saying bootmgr is missing when i try to boot it. Other times, while i was trying to recover it again, it would bring me to the original page saying the recovery has failed. Then it could also bring me to a recovery windows saying it was successful and to restart my computer, followed by the bootmgr message when i boot again.

It was dropped 2-4 months ago and i performed a system recovery using only the files on my computer's hard drive already. Everything worked and i countinnued to use my computer. Then 2 months later, it won't start up and i forget what the message was, but i couldnt load my computer in safe mod of even see the screen the gave me the option to do so. Since my computar needed an upgrde i upgraded the above parts.

Then i ordered the recovery disks from hp and put them in. it partitioned the hard drive, copied files over, and restored files, then it rebooted and i saw a cluttered screen of windows installing and checking a series of items in the top left corner (drivers, checking battery and some more)

This is were it gets annoying - i dont remember exactly, but either after doing a hard shut down or it rebooting on its own, it said that bootmgr was misssing. After 2 more attempts for a system recovery, eventually when i got to the same step each time, when i botted to computer it loaded to the recovery manegar and said a screen saying it failed and options to retry save log and view log or something similar.

So what do i need to do to install windows and get my system working again?

Test wise, i tested RAM and it was successful and my BIOS settings say i have 8192 ish MB of memory. The hard drive quick test was successful and i did not perform a long test yet. However, since it could boot up toe recovery maneger without the DVD, i assumed the hard drive worked.
