Post Body

Hello! Ive tagged this with software because I don’t believe this has to do with anything hardware related. I could be wrong, but from my understanding it is software.

My issue is that Ive recently received, installed, and have been using a used EVGA 1080ti FTW that my cousin had given me(I was using an RX590 6gb). Its been great! and running games I had issues with before run smoothly. EVGA precision X has been unbelievably useful as well. With the summer sales starting, I bought a couple new games(Doom Eternal, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Last of Us Part 1, Marvel’s Spiderman Remastered). I had a minor issue wirh DBX2, but quickly resolved it. Once I had installed the other games I found more and more BSOD and game freezing or crashing. I have genuinely 0 clue what the issue is because from my understanding I should be able to run these games at low settings or even medium. I even had an issue with DOOM 2016. I have played it in the past on my lenovo laptop, RX590, but now I cant on this 1080ti. I create a new save file and when I hit the “Rip and tear until…” and a black screen it instantly stops responding. No red rune appearing, just darkness. Task master says not responding. But for Doom Eternal, I make it to the load in, but it become black screen, still responding and music plays, but I am unable to move or play. Any ideas, I will give as much spec information as possible, BSOD logs, etc etc.
