Intel Optane H10 M.2 SSD (32GB Optane and 512GB SSD on one device)

Post Body

I am having the same issue as several other Optane SSD users:

I have a laptop with an Intel H10 M.2 SSD that is "Optane Accelerated", it's a 512gb drive with 32gb of Optane on the SSD. It came from the factory set up like this.

One day my laptop randomly stopped booting up. I plugged in a Windows recovery USB and it only sees the 32gb Optane partition, not the main 512gb partition on the drive. I put in another M.2 with a Windows install and I could boot into that, but in the disk manager I still cannot see the main partition.

I cannot find much info on dealing with Optane accelerated drives. Some people suggested that I disable " Intel Rapid Storage Technology " in the BIOS to see if that works. But the BIOS warns that removing that should only be done if I want to delete all info on the disk. Is there anything I can do without the risk of losing all my data?

I ordered a second, identical Optane drive, so I can try putting a fresh Windows 11 on that and seeing if booting up works, but my primary concern is can I save all my data from the original Optane drive? (the 512 GB portion of it).
