Just what it says. 8 year old flatscreen from Dell. Looks like it's just off as a power-saving thing, but it won't come back on by mouse movement, clicking, or keyboard. Have to turn it off and back on again, then keep using mouse or keyboard to keep it on. It doesn't actually turn off, just goes blank. The power light stays on (not blinking) and all the stuff plugged into it is still getting power. Running full virus/malware scans, checked power saving settings (normal), even checked plugs. Though that seemed futile since it's still getting power, just not using it to stay turned on. Sorry this is a jumbled mess, I'm typing fast to keep the damn thing on. Anything else I can try, or is it hosed?
Well, ended up just buying a new one. Which is way bigger. My god, look at all the tabs I can have open now....
Thanks for all your help, everyone!
