so i recently bought quest 2 and wanted to use it with the cable , got usb c to usb c cable and plugged it in, says its usb 2 then plugged it to usb a with an adapter and it says its usb 3. well thats weird when im sure that type c port is 3.2. after investigating its not even in device manager, motherboard got 8 ports for usb and only 7 out of them are in device manager. then i downloaded usbtreeview and got weird results.
PortConnectorIsTypeC : no
: 0 (no, port not supports USB 3.0)
and i know that is that usb c port by plugging in quest and it just identifying as usb 2.
so i realy dont know what to do he here, i rather use usb c than usb a with quest 2 since usb c has more power delivery but i dont understand whats wrong with it, why its acting so weird
motherboard is asus b450 gaming 2
thank you and would appreciate anything since there nothing about this issue anywhere
