I know you were asking this of a Comcast customer but it gives me an opportunity to vent a frustration I have with AT&T. I moved 6 months ago and it turns out they are the only ISP here. The fastest internet they provide is 2mbps DSL and only allow you to rent their equipment. I pay more for 10% of the speed at my last place (which happened to be Comcast).
Really? Thanks for sharing. I never made an issue of it beyond telling the CSR I talked to that it was disappointing. I'll look into my options some more.

Eh, I shouldn't even be complaining. I don't work (disabled) and I'm fortunate to have a home. The intermittent and antiquated internet is a luxury I probably don't deserve and I'm lucky they even service my rural Indiana trailer park at all.
