Yeah, sure in the short term this is a strategy, but go to the same well too many times and it's gone. Not only will the top talent leave, but they won't go back. Ever. They don't need to. You're silent firing while losing those you'd have never actually fired. Obsession with stock valuation will destroy every business.

I always see this, but automation requires knowledgeable workers WITHIN your environment still. You cannot automate, fire everyone and expect everything to always run smooth. That's how you fail once and switch away from automation. Automation is a TOOL that can ENHANCE rather than takeover entirely. Cause even when it is given the keys, it will still break and when it does, who fixes it?
