I know that is a childish way to bring it up. I'm an adult with other shit being my focus but still today I loaded up Spotify to start my shift and was feeling like some Tech. (Lately, it has been King Iso Illdren, That Mexican OT Lonestar Luchador, and Toby Keith everything RIP) so I threw on N9na because it's great played all the way through then a new tech song I never heard before came on doesn't surprise me I know I haven't heard everything he has done, he has been in the game for 20 years it plays through and I hear Lil Wayne!?!? (To good ftr) I try to think of when the hell they collaborated and I remember fuck food but drew a blank so I checked Spotify and it came out in 21 on asin9ne but here's the thing. I swear asin9ne was a single i don't remember asin9ne being an album. I remember Face Off but I hadn't heard any of the rest of asin9ne then I realized there were more albums I just completely skipped. I remember Enterfear but more fear, fear exodus, and blight. I don't remember him posting about them I don't remember ever hearing any of those songs I don't remember the artwork for them or anything. I considered myself an avid Tech fan being fairly familiar with his discography. That's 4 albums poof gone from my knowledge. Hell, I'm a Hopsin fan too and I got another Hopsin feature. I feel kind of pissed I didn't know this but happy because it feels like Tech dropped 4 albums today. Also, I remember Kris leaving and EarHouse but I don't know the other shit going on with SM. Again I have many other things taking my focus, especially through covid, but still 4 albums ( not full albums but it's like 35 or 36 songs ) why did so many artists leave? Why aren't they on tour?!?! For the last 4 or 5 years tech came through my town within days of my birthday so I always got myself and my brother tickets but nothing on their website and nothing on the venue's website about what was going on. we were supposed to see Tech and Jelly Roll pre-pandemic so I was checking constantly when the show was going on again during and post-COVID how did I miss this?
Again I am aware this post may make me look childish or like I'm trying too hard or whatever. What the hell is going on with Strange Music?
