Is there a world where the Alphari benching is being done to audition Jenkins because TL has an opportunity to sign some insane import Jungler and need to determine NOW if they can free up an import slot? Could Jenkins be competitive?

It has felt like the consensus has been that Santorin is the weaker player on TL. He seems out if shape physically (Which many players have pointed to their own physical exercise regimen improving their play) and exhibited health issues last season. In traditional sports these would both be reasons to put out feelers for a replacement.

Kobe implied he thought CoreJJ may be benched, or that there was some other crazy factor during The Dive. Perhaps he expected it to be Core because it's import based. It might also explain why TL is being overly cagey about it all... And perhaps why Alphari looked so down in his interview.

Is it beyond the realm of possibility? Who could it be if this was a reality?

Like the title said it's a tin foil hat theory with nothing to back it up, but I'd like to believe there's a smart business / success minded reason rather than "dudes are being story to each other". I highly doubt it's the actual case, but it's an interesting thought experiment, imo. (Especially if we see Eyla as support next week)
