From what I've read, people seem to treat EPIK as THE option for people aspiring to teach English in Korea. Anyone who accepts a Hagwon or non-EPIK job will hate it.
To what extent is this true?
I'm afraid that I'll get rejected from EPIK and then be stuck waiting for another 6 months. I'm also a bit picky about the location because one of my good friends lives in Busan.
In short, here are my questions
How much easier is it applying to a school directly? It seems like a need a bunch of documents and stuff to apply for EPIK
Are Hagwons really that bad?
3: Is it worth it to apply for a non-EPIK job?
