So where to start, firstly I have a 2.0tdi Audi TT with a 6sp manual 02q box. Pretty certain the slave cylinder has gone kaput so I may as well get a whole clutch kit.
The car is intend as a track build which is why I’m more inclined to go for the smh atm but I also don’t want to create a car that eats through gearboxes on a yearly basis. The harshness and noise of a light fly wheel aren’t really a problem to me what I mainly would like to find out is how long can I expect the steel synchros to last with a 10kg smh kit that does get tracked daily and would it just be a safer option to get a strengthened dmf kit in terms of reliability?
For reference I’m looking at the sachs kits from dark side developments.
