I'm using brand new Monoprice HDMI cables with an Apple TV 4K (2022 version). I have the Apple TV set to 4K SDR and to "Match Content" for Dynamic Range and Frame Rate, like all the guides suggest.
When watching most HDR content, I can usually notice that it is visually dim/flat/dull, then when I press the Settings button on the TCL remote and go to Picture, it shows the Picture Mode as Dolby/HDR and suddenly "pops in" way brighter... then the show looks perfectly good, until next time when it does it again.
Anyone have any ideas WTF? IT's super annoying to have to do this almost every time I start a new show/app/episode.
