Amended tax question
Post Body

Long story short:

I just filed my amended taxes for 2023 because I got full custody of my child here recently(they lived with me all of last year). Per the court order, I have the right to claim them as a dependent for 2023 and thereafter.

My question: Is there a way for me to see or find out if the noncustodial parent or their family members claimed the child on theirs? I have the proof to show that I had them last year, I just donโ€™t want the government to think Iโ€™m trynna scam or anything.
