Post Body

Hi all,

I am a full time college student. I am claimed as a dependent by my parent. I received more scholarships than my tuition was worth by around $7000. I work part time and am filing using turbo tax. Inputting my 1098-t makes my taxes go from getting $500 back to having to pay $300. Any insight here? Am I even required to report 1098-t since I am being claimed as a dependent?
