Unreimbursed Employee Expenses
Post Body
I am in sales and in years past have averaged $25-30,000 in unreimbursed employee expenses primarily related to lead generation. My industry effectively requires representatives to be w2 employees. My employer does not allow for expense reimbursement
Is there anything stopping me from setting up a business entity that does marketing and record my expenses for this activity and then giving the leads to me personally? The business would have little to no income
