TaxAct computes my AGI without subtracting deductions

Post Body
Maybe I just donโt understand what AGI is, but TaxAct is claiming I do not qualify for the IRS File Free program because my AGI exceeds the $79,000 threshold. My gross income does, but if I subtract the deductions that Iโve submitted to TaxAct, it is less than $79,000.
Am I misunderstanding AGI or is something weird going on?
Thanks
