How long between start to skin

Hi, newbie here I recently took up the intrest of tattooing and my friend instantly requested a piece I drew up this design. And then told them I would need some time to practice before I feel comfortable to work on them. For that I was wondering how long it took you to go from fake skin to real? For reference the first picture is the tattoo I designed for them and others are my other works. Would appreciate critics Thank you in advance! 💕
