hey guys, I just wanna say first of all, I love this sub ! it's so full of cool ass people and everyone is so supportive !

I a few days ago I terminated my apprenticeship at the shop I was working at. I had over 300 hours and almost 50 tattoos.. I was so close but I had to leave. my mentour had been tattooing people while knowingly having a STAPH INFECTION. there was a lot of red flags before that but that was the final straw for me. I wasn't going to expose my clients to that.

anyways! I figured at this point it'd be more sanitary to be a scratcher while I look for a better apprenticeship. and I need some advice on how to start.

how do yall go about sanitation ? and is there any supplies you'd recommend for mobile tattooing ? also what should I look for in a reliable shop to apprentice at ?
