Apologies if this isn't the right place to post this - if it isn't, and anybody has advice on a different sub, I would love to know!
My friend has a European tattoo artist that they love, and the artist liked the idea he submitted and agreed to do his tattoo. The tattoo itself will be done in Lisbon.
We're both in the US and we know all about tipping artists in the US. But neither of us is sure about the rules for Europe. From what I've seen online, it looks like tipping is not the norm, but that some people do tip 5-10%. Is that really the case?
My friend is very stoked about experience and definitely wants to do right by the artist.
