Ankle tattoo making my knee itch?!

Okay, I have a weird case. My left knee cap has been itchy for days now and I'm just starting to think somethings up. It's not a terrible itch and most of the time it's not even distracting but it almost seems constant.
It's only my left knee cap though and the only thing I can think of is that I got a left ankle tattoo a few weeks ago. The tattoo itself seems to have gone through it's normal healing phases, and I do have others. Anyone have thoughts on this?
