Kneecap tattoo while working a fairly physical job?

Hi there! I'm on mobile, sorry if there's formatting issues.

I work at a large bakery for a chain of co-op stores in my area. To give an idea of the work I do, I'll be baking hundreds of pastries and pies, packaging them in boxes, loading them on trucks to be sent, making upwards of 10kg of dough a day, prepping ingredients for various baked goods, and making various buttercreams (not all the work, but that's a good chunk). I have to do quite a bit of lifting, for example with 50lb bags of flour, boxes of apples, and boxes of dries for scone doughs. It may be considered strenuous, but to me this work isn't hard physically at all. I'm more concerned with the amount I'm bending my knees to lift and simply do my job.

If I were to get my knees tattooed, I'd be using Tegaderm to cover them, but would that be enough for them to heal? Or would it be best to take time off of my work? I can't really take time off right now as someone recently left in my department, so if I end up working, how screwed could I be?

Thanks!
