Hello everyone! There's something that I've been curious about lately. So some skincare products, like retinol, works for anti-aging by stimulating cell turnover and increase collagen production. Would this help keep tattoos looking fresh or actually make it worse (ink spread due to increased cell turnover)?
I'm assuming Vitamin C would help with tattoo longevity (along with sunscreen) since it helps protect the skin from sun damage. It also increases production of collagen, so how does that affect tattoos?
I tried looking stuff up but got conflicting information in some cases.
Kinda just rambling and was a recurring thought I've been having. Would love to hear your thoughts and insights as well! Has anyone here tried these or other skincare ingredients on their tattoos? How are the results?
